I went out to dinner with a friend last night. I had suggested the place because I had a gift card (which I must mention I have had for almost 2 years). I was thinking...perfect! Save cash, treat a friend--it can't get any better, right?! Well, it was completely busy at this joint--conntect to the mall! We were told 2 hour wait. I thought, that would be fine though we would be eating at like 9pm...and it was FREE! We could at least get a snack and do some shopping! And that is what we did.
We came back and they were ready to seat us at 8:50.. WE had a gReAt meal! So good!! Well, we were kind a rush to get out because we wanted to stop at a store before the mall closed. The place was still packed and busy busy busy. I slipped the Gift Card into the recipt book and quickly gave it back to our server. My friend thought that was so nice to use my card. I was like, No problem. Well, turns out my Gift Card was for a very similar, very competitive place just like where we ate. OH MAN. And it happened to be just across the street!
So I talked up this Gift Card, ended up paying cash for the meal...not a problem. And, we didn't make it back into the mall before it closed. And still have this gift card in my wallet for yet another year! But had Great Company for the night!
