20 week Ultra Sound
By 9:13am this morning we had already had a very busy day. Here is how it went.
6:45am -wake up/get dressed & start taking in lots of fluids for our 8am Ultra Sound
7:00am -say goodbye to Tom for the morning- he'll be meeting us (C&I) at the hospital for Ultra Sound
7:15am -make oatmeal for C & I... along with some fruit and yogurt
7:20am -heard C waking up- GOOD! I was glad I didn't have to wake him
7:25am - get C out of bed, ready for breakfast, EAT.
7:27am - Start Car out in driveway (Tom said my new DURANGO wouldn't fit in our one stall garage, so last night it got dumped on with snow) brush off car, and blast the defrost
7:37am -change C out of jammies, cloth C, put on coat & hat on --make sure I have diaper bag with all the necessities
7:53am - carry purse, diaper bag & Coulter out to car. BRUSH CAR OFF AGAIN! Yes, in 16 mins enough snow accumulated on the windows where if not cleared would have caused accidents. Did I mention schools are closed in the area??
7:56am -leave house, head to hospital
8:00am -arrive at hospital to see waiting husband in the lobby--sigh & a smile
8:01am -check into hospital
8:10am -start Ultra Sound
8:25am- Coats back on: Tom back to work, C&I to gma's.
8:26am -load car head to gma's
8:30am -arrive at gma's thru the blowing snow and thoughts of, "am I on the road??" and "where is the driveway??". Drop C off, chat a little.
8:45am -head back to the hospital/clinic SOLO for my dr's appt at 9am.
8:51am -arrive and check into clinic
*note need full bladder for Ultra Sound, could not empty after b/c of 9am appt. By 8:51am bladder needed to be emptied BAD. I told the check-in lady and she got on that right away. Of course I couldn't empty it earlier since a sample is needed at appt. time. Hope that wasn't too much information for you.
8:58am -after waiting a few mintues I hear, "Stacey Thone". My turn. Pressure relieved. On with the rest.
9:13am -back in my car, appt over, heading to Glen's Food store for a requested snack by hubby for our snowy evening at home: Chips and French Onion dip. Yeah, that is his craving during this pregnancy. Then, on to get Coulter from gma's at 9:27am.
*Times are accurate. Remember I do live in a small town, and it is possible to travel in only mintues to your next destination.
Oh Yes, and our appt's went GREAT! Baby Thone weighs about 13 oz. The original due date is kept at 8/16/08 even though the Ultra Sound said a few days earlier. What more could we ask for...a HEALTH BABY_____. WE ARE NOT ONE'S TO FIND OUT! Sorry to keep the suspense.
