The common excuse...

These last few beautiful days have been packed with lunch playdates at the park and of course the never-ending painting of our house. How is that going by the way, you ask? GREAT. Did you think we were done already? Well, almost! It just those darn peeks! With Tom out of town for week Monday-Wednesday, my MIL & I have been busy painting the lower 3/4 of the house. Now that he is home I expect he get busy on those high points!!

Here is a little sneak peak at what went on here Sunday:
Super scary to watch. I was just praying that I would have a husband still when this was all done. Thankfully, I do!
What do you think of the color? The old color was a dark forest green, the new a deep blue/gray. Of course with white trim.

Playdates, can't forget those. Yesterday after our appt in Sioux Falls, we met up with a few of Coulter's friends, Brek (20 months) and his NEW brother Cade (2 weeks today), and Owen (17 months)! We had so much fun at the park we almost forgot to eat our lunches!

Today we played with Coulter's friend Taylor at the park. This time we made sure to eat our lunch first!! What fun it is to have playmates and watch the kiddos interact. I have really noticed that at the park we have a little dare-devil. Must watch with all eyes--ALL THE TIME! It's great!!

Therefore, I am going to use the common excuse: I've just been too busy to BLOG!
What have you been up to these wonderful weathered days?

My first thought was " is that scaffolding OSHA approved"? The paint job looks professional.
Isn't it great that the painters I see in the photos are employed by a reputable insurance company!
P.S. I hope the C bear keeps up the dinner music at least until Memorial day weekend. It will be the entertainment for every meal.
Love Granpa G.

Anna-
Small town parks are great. They are all over the place!
Shelly-
The purse is actually from NYC but I got it from Steph at Christmas. A D & G look-a-like.
G'pa-
OSHA approved--no way! Don't worry about the music...it gets better everyday!
