If you haven't noticed...
So this weekend was supposed to be a Thone family vacation to the Black Hills--planned months ago--where my husband, Tom and his brother, Troy, were going to run in the Deadwood Mickelson Trail 1/2 Marathon. They did the full 26.2 miles together 2 years ago. Well after other Thone's slowly bailed out, Tom and I were still all about going somewhere on a little Tom Thone family vacation...we LOVE the Black Hills...but just didn't know where we wanted to go, maybe somewhere new.
If you haven't noticed I posted a poll asking my blog viewers to vote, and it is very clear you are all (mostly) in agreeance--is that a word??--with us...THE BLACK HILLS! So the plans have been made! We are going out Friday-Monday. We are staying in a hotel in Rapid the first night and in a cabin the next two. We are camping though. Ya see, this cabin has electricity only. It comes equipt with one bed minus linens, a small refridgerator, and a coffee pot. That's all. That is just perfect for us! We were going to tent it but Tom was a litte aprehensive with Coulter so this will be a great compromise!
So thanks for your help in guiding our little family vacation! We'll let you know how it went when we come back!

have fun!!! cabin sounds fun...if it were us, Lee wouldn't allow the electricity. he'd want to go all out. (I kinda like your idea) :)
just think...next year at this time, if you continue with the tradition... you will have two little ones in the 'cabin' tent or whatever...with another on the way? you think? oh dear... how cute would that be? just kidding.
