Take one guess...
Ok I'm not gonna lie--we like to watch the travel channel. Really, they sometimes have good stuff on. And Tom just loves Anthony Bourdain. You can always pull NEW fun facts from the show cuz who really knows the weird/interesting stuff they share. So tonight as Coulter is soundly snoozing we are watching The Feasty Boys Eat America--"Travel from state to state with The Feasty Boys as they enjoy the culinary treats found across the United States."
Tonight they are in AZ and we are learing all about the ostrich. Pretty cool birds with longs necks! Here is where the guessing comes in...
Q: One Ostrich egg is equivalent to how many chicken eggs? GUESS NOW!

Let's change that to ..."I'm going to guess 12, Stacey!" YIKES! My grammar needs to be checked! Troy
Good guess everyone...come on we need more till the true answer comes out...
Troy--I read your first one correctly even though the grammar was off. Weird how the mind works. Thanks for the guess.
So i am a dork... and really wondered about this... I am on the computer.. so GOOGLE came in handy... I know, i think i know now...but this is something i found. Describes it nicely. It is talking about a cooking show.
"The chef gives the cantaloupe-size ostrich egg a couple of firm taps around the center with the back of a knife, just until the glossy ivory-colored shell cracks and a small hole opens up. It's barely enough room for her to get her thumbs inside. With a deep sigh, she pulls and pries open the thick shell.
Out gushes a glistening lake and sun of white and yolk - equal to about ???????? chicken eggs - into a large bowl. After a chorus of "Wow!" the onlookers agree: None of us has ever seen anything quite like this before."
