Swing Mate
At the park this morning. Quite windy. As we pull up in our covered Chariot I see this little boy run out of his house, thur the fence and onto the play ground.
Boy: Hi.
C & I: Hi.
Boy: My mom said I could play in the blue- no where else. (the blue is the area where the edging around the playarea is blue-there is a red and yellow area too.)
C & I: Fun!
We procede to have a little snack--raisins & water while sitting on the bench about 20 feet from the blue area. Slowly we walked over to the blue playground exploring the equiptment.
It was obvious that boy wanted attention and help of course tacking all the equiptment. None of which was given by me.
Coulter rode on the bouncy motorcycle...loved it. Then onto the swings. Boy was already there--playing on the infant swings...not in them, for he couldn' t get in alone. He was big enough however to handle a normal swings. He mother had already yelled out that he was too big for the baby swings.
We continue to swing.
Boy: (while sitting on the tire swing) I want a push.
C & I: Enjoying the ever so windy weather--pushing Coulter, did I hear something....nahh.
Boy: I want a push! Why do you always have to push him?
