As a new mom I am all about the deals. I love Sales! Love coupons. I was born a shopper. Must be all my mom's blood. Her quote, (my husbands favorite) "It was too good of a deal to leave in the store." AMEN mother!
Growing up if we had our homework done--on Wednesday nights we would head to the mall before youth group at church with plenty of time to shop. Every WEDNESDAY NIGHT. The Store of choice was The Gap. Big reason behind that! (Just ask and I'll tell you) It really didn't matter if our homework was done--come to think of it--we would just be up late finishing it up.
Well, not too long ago I recieved an email from a friend. (whom will remain nameless--they will by the end of my story) In this email it had coupons for FREE JUICY JUICE. Now that is a deal! Usually I see the 35cents off ones BUT this was a FREE Juice...Not just a 20 oz but the big one! I forwarded it onto those who I though would like the Juciy Juice. I am now appologizing for doing so. :(
Well, I got busted yesterday from a clerk in my small town grocery store for a COUNTERFEIT COUPON! What? I thought. It was really a great deal. I couldn't believe the selection they had on the shelves still with a coupon like that floating around.
I guess you just can't believe everything you see!

WHAT!!!! that stinks, I totally would have tried to use that one! I love coupons! never thought I would, but I do think they're great. why not try to save some money on the necessities., just more to use on fun stuff, right????
OK...I AM SOO SORRY!!!! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THEY WOULDN'T WORK. In fact, the person that forwarded them to me said she used them in Plymouth at a CUB and got free Juicy Juice with no questions.
so why was it GAP? do I know this already!! I soooo remember all the stuff you'd show me at church each Wed. :)
Ok The GAP.
My mom is the reason that price adjustments are only good for 14 days. Why? Because Judy kept all her recipet. ALL (for years). One time in the Gap she noticed an item she purchased had now gone on sale. She asked about a price adujustment. They said yeah, why not. She brought in all her recipts (for years) and got major bucks back--MAJOR. Can you imagine getting the lowest price (in the system) for every item you bought. I my goodness!!
