The ever famous Spritz cookie Bootsie style--

This last week I have baked a lot of cookies. Tom's only request was to make some Spritz like his grandma Boots used to make. Not the green green christmas trees with the silver star, nor the white wreath with colored sprinkles. He wanted the plain butter spritz with the chocolate star pressed into the middle!
So I thought it would be perfect to bake them TOGETHER. So after Coulter went to bed we got baking! He did most of the work and they turned out GREAT!

Getting the Spritz gun ready, if you don't have one...I totally reccommend one--I love mine!

Tom adding the Vanilla...of course, after he sampled it. Yuck.
I do love his tongue sticking out. That is one way I can tell he is concentrating.

Working the gun! So easy!

The final touches with the chocolate star.

Thomas!!!! Very impressive. I'll have to tell Mitch. He and Luke made Oreo balls the other night ALL BY THEMSELVES too. You guys shouldn't hide your hidden baking skills. Yes, the tongue thing....it's important to press those cookies just the right way, isn't it? Merry Christmas Thone Family. Kisses little C-man!
