Update:
Brody did such a super job today. Praise the Lord. First off, thank you to all you kept the family in your thoughts and prayers!! God really showed us He is in charge! We keep praying that Brody will heal fast and well without and bumps along the way! He's a tough little guy!
Brody went into surgery around 12:30 and they were started by 1:00pm. Brody's surgeon (Dr. Molga) let Sara and Ryan know about an hour into it that things were going well. It was around 4:30ish that Dr. Molga came into the family waiting room to say all was done and that Brody was doing good. Sara and Ryan got to see their little buddy around 5pm. They took the family in 2 by 2 to see him as well. He was slowly waking up around the 6 o'clock hour. Slowly. We stayed for Pizza Luce delivery and I finally got Coulter home and to bed by 9pm.
It was a busy day for the little C-man--but he did wonderful as well--especially with all the extra attention around!
Praying for a well rested night for Sara, Ryan and Brody at Children's!
If you think about it please say a prayer for Brody and his family today! He has his big surgery in just a few hours. The family with be down at Children's today in support for Ryan, Sara & Brody. I know that Ryan & Sara have a lot of followers on Brody's caringbridge site, they will be updating it during surgery & recovery I am sure--so check in!
We had the chance to go to lunch and the Como Zoo with Brody, Sara, Ryan, & my mom on Monday. The boys had fun seeing all the animals together!

And that is so funny you were at Como on Monday! My mom took Olivia there Monday! Small world!!!
I was checking for updates throughout the day yesterday on caring bridge and was so glad to learn that everything turned out ok! We'll continue to pray for his recovery.
